Why are lions tracked?

“Help prevent lion-human conflict. By knowing where the lions, are our team are able to warn the herders not to take their livestock where the lions are, therefore preventing lions from killing livestock. If lions kill livestock, livestock owners/herders become very angry and would want to kill lions in retaliation.” - Ewaso Lions

How much does a lion weigh?

After the tiger, lions are the largest big cat species! Males can weigh up to 550 lb (250 kg), and females up to 400 lb (180 kg).

How fast can a lion run?

An adult male lion can sprint in short bursts at speeds up to 50 mph (80 kph)! Like most cats, however, they spend most of their time resting at 0 mph.

What do lions eat?

Lions are carnivores, and it’s the females who do the hunting—mainly for large mammals like zebras, wildebeest, and antelope. At times, lions may also steal food from hyenas and other predators in the savanna, or settle for smaller prey such as birds, mice, and lizards when larger animals are scarce.

How do I wash my lion plush?

Wipe with damp sponge or cloth, using warm water and mild soap. Once dry, brush to restore the plush and proceed with snuggling.

My plush arrived a little misshapen, what do I do?
