Partnering with Fahlo has been transformative for the Somali Giraffe Project. We work to protect the Somali giraffe, also known as the reticulated giraffe, one of the most threatened giraffe species, with fewer than 16,000 remaining in the wild. The GPS data from the tagged giraffes supported by Fahlo supporters doesn't just create an engaging map, it directly informs our conservation strategy. Through your support we can identify critical corridors giraffes use to migrate, pinpoint areas of high human-giraffe conflict, and effectively target our community outreach and habitat protection efforts where they are needed most. By connecting thousands of people directly to the daily journeys of giraffes in northeastern Kenya, Fahlo has built a passionate community of advocates for this species that is often overlooked. The Trek Bracelet not only raises vital funds for our work but also inspires global awareness and engagement, giving our conservation mission a reach we could never achieve alone.

Working to save America’s most endangered canid, the American Red Wolf, requires creativity, passion and diligence from the entire SAFE American Red Wolf team. In this light, the team found a very unique opportunity with Fahlo, the animal tracking bracelet company. I don’t think any of us could have dreamed of the level of awareness and conservation initiatives this endeavor is creating. In just one year, over 358,000 American Red Wolf bracelets have been sold. That’s a novel and massive audience of supporters who are genuinely interested in saving the American Red Wolf. That means over 358,000 people are wearing a Red Wolf on their wrist with the opportunity to start conversations about these animals they chose to support. Each bracelet is delivered with information about an individual Red Wolf with ways to learn more and support our efforts. Fahlo reports their constituents are completely enamored with Red Wolves, following along with births, releases and new information. It’s a whole new set of American Red Wolf groupies! One of Fahlo’s missions is to actively support each animal that is represented on a bracelet by donating a percentage of the profits for each bracelet sold. For the American Red Wolf, this has amounted to an astonishing $85,429 and it will continue to grow as more Red Wolves are added to the collection and more bracelets are sold. These funds have allowed us to fulfill some of our five year action plan items much sooner than we anticipated. They have also given us the ability to assist with some immediate needs regarding the health and safety of the in situ animals. This partnership continues to amaze us. It has brought the American Red Wolf a contemporary supporting audience while generating substantial income. Both the audience and the income will continue to grow and pave the way for innovative and successful fund raising. It is a multi faceted win for SAFE American Red Wolves.

I’m writing to recommend Fahlo as a conservation collaborator, corporate sponsor, and/or wholesale partner. Fahlo has donated proceeds from their products to the Sea Turtle Conservancy(STC) since 2019. Additionally, they’ve helped raise awareness and educate millions of people about the plight of endangered animals, such as sea turtles. Their support is helping STC fill a critical role in the protection and recovery of sea turtles around the world. STC is on the ground at the most important sea turtle nesting beaches monitoring the turtles, protecting the nests, educating and energizing local communities to support conservation—and actively tackling complicated threats to sea turtles and their marine and coastal habitats. All of these projects have something in common—they take place at the most important locations in the world for sea turtles. We choose where to conduct our work very carefully— spending our time and money efficiently—and only where we can have the greatest impact. What we do matters, and what we have accomplished over the last 65 years has prevented the extinction of these magnificent animals. Our work is made possible through STC’s incredible partnership with Fahlo.
